First political post, in a kind of sense. I've read something about the life of Giuseppe Piéche, an italian politician and police officier who was a goddam fascist during the Fascism (ok, it doesn't make any problem) and he was (obviously, and that's the point) recycled after WWII, when he, among other things, coordinated the removal of former partisans from the police, substituting them with (obviously) people linked with fascism. That's just a small example, which shows how much Italy got rid of fascism (not at all, practically). Italians don't want to reckon with their past, believing they are “brava gente”... and don't touch the partisans, they are their pass-par-tout for democracy.
